Orientation & Starting Preschool

 An orientation day is encouraged by us whereby you can visit our centre together with your child prior to their start date. You can spend one hour at the centre free of charge in order for you and your child to familiarise yourselves with the classroom, surroundings, educators and learning program. This enables your child to settle into the centre and make their first day of child care less overwhelming.

Once your child commences care at our centre, our educators will do everything possible to settle your child as we endeavour to make this transition as smooth as possible for everyone.

We kindly request that you bring the following items with your child each day to the centre:

• An appropriate hat to protect from the sun (either broad brimmed or legionnaires)
• Drink bottle (Water only)
• Bed sheets (Supplied with enrolment package)
• Comforters
• 2 x Spare clothing
• A backpack to place your child's work in.
• Hand towel with a material hook.
• Meals (All meals, including morning tea, Lunch, and afternoon tea)
• A piece of pre-cut fruit in a small container and a nutritious lunch and something for afternoon tea. (No glass containers)

NB: Please ensure all items are clearly labelled with your child’s name!

When arriving at the Centre (as well as when leaving at the end of each day) you MUST sign in /sign out your child(ren) in the kiosk, which is found in the sign in/out area.
